F.A.Q.

Do you recommend a trial? Absolutely 100%. A trial will be everything that we will do on your wedding day. It is a complete trial run, down to the lashes. I think it is so important to have a trial, especially for someone who does not wear much makeup regularly. It will put you and myself at ease knowing that we are both going into the wedding day with the same goal. Also, what you thought you wanted may not be what you will end up wanting your look to be. So in short, YES!

How far in advance should I do my trial? A trial can be done whenever is convenient for you. My one recommendation is that if you are going to be tanner for your wedding, be that color for your trial. Then not only are you trialing your makeup, but also your tan.

Do you travel?  Yes, I will most definitely travel to you on your day. I work the travel cost into the bridal price. However I am based in Ofallon, MO so depending on the distance, I may ask for more depending on the mileage.

How to I book my wedding date? To book your date, a Bridal Deposit is required. This deposit will be applied towards the brides makeup application for the wedding day. So on the wedding day, the bride will not owe anything. One less thing to worry about. :)                    *Deposits are non-refundable

Do you do airbrush? I used to use TEMPTU airbrush on my clients. However I do not feel it is required to have a lasting flawless face. I prefer and always recommend traditional foundation. I believe it give the best look.

Should I get a spray tan? YES! of course you should look bronzed and beautiful for your big day. Pro Tip: I suggest not getting your face sprayed unless you are positive you will like the outcome. Some can cling to the hairs on your face and it makes it much more difficult to have a flawless finish. We can always match your face to your tanned body :)

Should I get lash extensions or have you apply false lashes? This is such a great question. I love lashes! Things to think about though. Lash extensions make it difficult for shadow fall out so if you do go that route, your eye makeup will need to be on the lighter side. It will still look beautiful either way!

How long does the makeup application take? It takes an average of about 45 minutes per person.

Is there anything I need to bring on the day of? I will apply lipstick for you, but I would suggest bringing a touch up color with you.

How do you figure your pricing? This is a question that I feel really needs explaining because I do realize it can seem expensive. The average cost for traditional higher end foundation is about $40. However that is just the beginning. A full face of makeup application includes the following.. (primer, concealer, foundation, setting powder, bronzer, blush, highlight, mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow, lashes, lip stick) That is just the products. This does not include talent and time.
